Our Chickinz & Dux!!!
Chickz on Day one!
Dux on Day one!
This is our clan of Chickinz and Dux.   We have a large variety of birds in our
flock :)   The birds we currently have are Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks,
Jersey Giants, Buff Orpingtons, and Mixed Bantam sized breeds.  We also
have one Mille Fluer D'Anver (Quail) Bantie named Cheeky...we hope to get
more of her breed to hatch out for our flock...she is the sweetest bird ever!
See pictures below of our flock & some other birds we had on our farm!  We
currently only have White Pekin ducks on the farm with us, they tend to stick
around and not fly out of their pen  LOL they are "FAT" ...The Khaki
Cambells & Rouens we did have flew out to unfortunately find a fox :(
We also have a Canadian Goose named Murphy...see her page
HERE.
Our heavy hens usually start laying eggs @ 5months old.  They lay a good
group of brown eggs even through the winter and are very good natured
overall.  I have more pix...and am always taking more so they will be loaded soon!
