LeeLu
The Honorary APBT!
From the day I saw her at the local humane
society, I knew this kitten
would fit perfectly in our home :)

Lee Lu is 14# of pure energy, love,
crazyness, and warmth.  She is always
giving kisses, wags her tail, talks, sits pretty,
and eats the dogs food.  You see...she
really thinks she is a little APBT..thru and
thru.....
On November 5th, 2002, I went to see
a little APBT puppy that the WHS had
called me about. They were worried that they
wouldn't be able to adopt him out easily, and
wanted me to foster him.
By the time I got there that weekend,
someone had already adopted the
adorable little boy...
so I took a walk around to look
at the other animals at the shelter....
I went into the kitty room to see
all the little rascals in their comfy
enclosures. As I bent down
to view a small calico, a little
paw reached out from the upper
cage, gently caressing my forehead!
When I rose to say hello I viewed
the most unusual, adorable kitten I
had ever seen!
Her WHS name was Cowgirl.........
I took the 6 week old kitten out
of her cage to cuddle her, her eyes
never left my face!  She purred so
loud I could feel it thru my thick
jacket...and she gently used her little
paws to brush the sides of my neck
as if she were giving me a little hug.
I had to take this love home....She
had already cast her spell on me!!

When we got her home she immediately
took to my male
Titan. He had no problems letting
her nurse, cuddle, clean, and play
with him for endless hours!
As the other dogs came she took
things all in stride, Welcoming
each and showing them how fun
it was to be an APBT!  {LOL}
She truly believes that she
is one of them but also
has the characteristics
that most cats do.....
She loves to climb on
things, eat bugs, and has
her snotty moments.
But 99% of the time she
is where the dogs are.
I can honestly say I will
never get another chance to
own such a wonderful cat.
She will always be a once in
a lifetime kitty!
She blends in like camo!
